AutoLog

Last updated: May 25, 2026

This policy explains how the AutoLog Android app (package net.inettools.autolog, Russian name «АвтоЛог») handles data when you track car maintenance, mileage, reminders and expenses.

Developer and Contact

The app is published by InetTools. For privacy questions, contact us at support@inettools.net.

Data Entered by the User

The user can enter car details such as make, model, year, license plate, VIN, engine, fuel type and current mileage. Maintenance records can include service type, date, mileage, parts cost, labor cost, workshop or garage name, and free-form notes.

Local Storage

In version 0.1.10, car data, service history, replacement intervals, expenses, notes and theme settings are stored locally in the app storage on the device. This user-entered data is not synchronized with an InetTools server and is not shared with other users.

Reminders in the current version are calculated inside the app and shown in the interface. System push notifications are not used.

Network Requests

The main maintenance tracking workflow works without an account and without a backend API. The app may open external links to Google Play, RuStore and privacy policy pages in the user's browser. For analytics and diagnostics, the app sends technical events to AppMetrica and error reports to Sentry.

Analytics, Error Reports and Advertising

The app uses AppMetrica for product analytics and stability diagnostics. AppMetrica may receive technical app events such as app launch, session, app version, device and operating system details, diagnostic events and crash information. AppMetrica is configured without location tracking, and the Android build excludes the advertising identifiers module.

The app uses Sentry for error and crash reports. Sentry may receive technical information about the app version, device, operating system, error time, stack trace and app state. We do not intentionally add user-entered car details, VINs, license plates, notes, expenses or service history to Sentry reports.

The app does not require sign-in and does not send name, email, phone number, contacts, payment data, user files or precise location to AppMetrica or Sentry. The app does not use advertising SDKs and we do not sell users' personal data.

Android Permissions

The app declares the INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, and Google Play Install Referrer technical permissions added by an SDK dependency. They are used for safely opening external links, checking network state, sending AppMetrica technical analytics and sending Sentry error reports. The app does not request access to contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, calendar, user files, precise or approximate location, or payment data.

Data Deletion

Users can delete local app data through Android system settings, by clearing app data, or by uninstalling the app from the device. For questions about technical data already sent to AppMetrica or Sentry, contact us at support@inettools.net.

Children

The app is not specifically directed to children and does not include account registration, user content publishing, or communication features between users.

Policy Changes

We may update this policy when the app, SDKs, network features, or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page.
